Side-Tone Management

Side-Tone Management provides an optional Side-Tone path from headset microphone to receiver, with howling suppression for small headsets. Side-Tone provides more natural sound quality and an indication of the presence of microphone wind noise to the headset user.

Side-Tone Management may be combined with Line Echo Cancellation to provide comprehensive Side-Tone control for a range of applications. Line Echo Cancellation can remove unwanted long-delay Side-Tone present in the telephone network, for replacement by well controlled short-delay Side-Tone using Side-Tone Management.
